Are you in need of a cuddle buddy? Someone who will just chill on the couch and watch Netflix all day? Then Teddy is the cat for you! Teddy is a big hunk of "teddy bear" love who wants nothing more than to just chill and be on your lap. He likes to be held and getting and giving rubs.

Teddy is a local neighborhood kitty who was taken in by one of our volunteers, to have him neutered. Teddy told her that he would really like to have a real home of his own and be an inside cat. So he moved on in as her foster kitty. Teddy is ready for someone to give him all the love and attention he deserves.

Teddy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has a clean bill of health. He has tested positive for FIV, feline immunodeficiency virus, but that just means he has a weaker immune system and may be more prone to getting infections, such as upper respiratory infections and dental disease. However, as long as he lives indoors in a safe, loving home, those risks will be minimized and Teddy can live a long healthy normal life among other pets. FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can live together as long as they get along and do not fight.

Teddy gets along with other cats but, like all cats, needs to be introduced properly to minimize stress and fighting between new and old cats alike. Teddy is young, just a year old. He is a perfect gentleman and has very nice house manners (is litter trained.)
