Oreo is Home

A few weeks ago, we got a call for help from a woman. She had two dogs she could no longer care for. She needed dog food, the dogs needed all their vaccinations, and the owner needed help finding a new home for both dogs. FLASh got busy. We connected with St. Martin Humane Society, as one of the dogs had been adopted from them last year. FLASh offered to help with the cost for getting them ready for re-homing, thanks to an ASPCA grant we have received for vaccinations.

Vet appointments were made. Vaccinations were given. Thankfully both dogs were already altered. And both tested negative for heartworm. Whew!

A big thank you to Lindy Muse, who picked Oreo up and brought him to his transport to Florida.

And here he is, with his new family in FL. Very happy humans and furkid! Yay!
